Honoring the Mother
As we plunge into 'God/Goddess', 'Source', and explore The Absolute Reality beyond even gods or goddesses....we recognize both Father/Mother aspects of Deity, the masculine/feminine dual principles that work in synergy thru-out the Creator/Creation dynamic. We respect the Mother just as much as the Father in their co-creative roles and functions, in whatever qualities, attributes or personalities that these appear within as their symbols or vehicles. The Goddess is restored to her rightful place as the Mother in all her forms in the cosmos. In Christian Science and other schools the term 'Father-Mother-God' has been used, merely figurative of course in relational affection with our devotion to Deity. 'God' is without form and within form, being truly INFINITE, so these are just archetypes on one level of 'relating', while THE ABSOLUTE itself, is wholly beyond form, name, definition, space, time, personality, etc. In later commentaries we'll explore The Absolute and its relation to the Relative in the grand creation, and the various forms of God/Goddess that reveal, express, mirror aspects of The Absolute in relative terms (image, form, definitions, personifications).
