we’re all walking around with pocket-sized dopamine casinos in our hands.

Because guess what?

It is in the pantry.

Creation is not supposed to feel like consumption.

It’s slower. It’s messier. It smells weird.

It requires your hands, your breath, your body.

Truth makes you cry in the middle of a poem you didn’t know you were writing.

Truth smells like dried herbs, burnt edges, and your own breath slowing down for the first time all day.

So if you feel slow today?

Good.

You’re syncing with actual time.

If your creation isn’t perfect?

Good.

You’re free from the prison of polish.

If you feel resistance when it’s time to make something?

Good.

It means you’re stepping outside the cage.
