YHWH (Yahweh), the most High God, or a lesser god?
Hi all, we dive into the 'God' of the Old Testament and consider the divine name revealed as YHWH (the tetragrammaton) commonly translated as 'Yahweh' among other variations. We lightly touch on a few questions and consideration on this deep topic to stir the waters a bit, for your own reflection. The deeper meaning of the 'tetragrammaton' (YHWH) merits a another chapter, since in that 'name' is the dynamic emphasis of both 'BE-ing' and 'BE-coming'....the static and kinetic aspects of Spirit, that PRESENCE that holds the power of 'to be' and 'to become', that which encompasses no-thing and every-thing, the true Identity of 'God' in its more pure proper definition, if we hold to the Most High God, as Pure DEITY. The KEY is in the meaning of the divine NAME (identity, power, presence, nature)....and not necessarily in that 'god' that adopted the name for himself, since any 'god' or 'person' can do that, but our worship and study of Source entails we go diretly into the Heart-essence of 'God' within and without to discover and know 'God' for ourselves. Then the mighty I AM Presence radiates out from us, being individual expressions of that ONE. In the light of that omnipresence, there is ONLY THAT. In the absolute reality of total God-consciousness, there is only the glory of God! I AM that, because only THAT really IS, its reality is at the core and context of everything. - its just the metaphysics of things .......
